The homestay has a cooperation with a tea garden, but it is not the tea picking season and you can't visit the tea garden. If you just want to post on social media, this isn’t the place for you. 08 Guiyang | Guizhou Guiyang’s summer is truly cool. You need a light blanket at night. Tianhetan tourist resort is close to the city, with caves and waterfalls that are easy to walk. The paths inside the caves are flat, suitable for elderly and children. Qingyan ancient town is more authentic than trendy ancient towns. The city walls are old, the stone slabs polished by footsteps, and pig’s trotters are a must-try—soft and falling off the bone. Gaopo Yunding grassland is south of Huaxi district. It’s high altitude, so wear a jacket in summer. You can see stars at night. Huaxi park is next to the city. Evening walks there are most comfortable. Locals stroll there regularly. Guiyang’s food and lodging are affordable. A bowl of spicy intestine noodles costs a dozen yuan, and chain hotels are about 200 yuan. It’s best to stay 3 to 4 days, visiting one spot a day and spending the rest of the time relaxing in the hotel with tea.
