HO CHI MINH — 3 ICONIC SPOTS I REALLY ENJOYED VISITING
If you’re planning a trip to Ho Chi Minh City, I want to share 3 places that stood out to me the most during my visit.
BLACK VIRGIN MOUNTAIN (NÚI BÀ ĐEN)
This one is a bit outside the city, but honestly worth the trip. I took the cable car up and the view from the top was just incredible — super peaceful and refreshing compared to the busy city vibe.
PINK CHURCH (TÂN ĐỊNH CHURCH)
One of the cutest spots in the city! The soft pink color makes it really eye-catching, and I personally think it’s even nicer in real life than in photos. A quick stop, but definitely memorable.
CENTRAL POST OFFICE
Right in the city center and such a beautiful piece of history. I loved walking inside and seeing the old French colonial architecture — it feels like stepping back in time for a moment.
MY TIP:
These places are quite different from each other, so I’d suggest not rushing. Take your time and enjoy each stop slowly so the experience feels more meaningful.
Ho Chi Minh surprised me in a good way — it’s not just a busy city, but also full of history, culture, and little gems like these.

Ready for a blast across Nova Scotia? 🚗🌊 This trip is packed with epic coastal drives, charming villages, and top-notch seafood—seriously, you’ll feel like you’re living in a travel magazine!
Top Spots to Visit:
1. Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse (Peggy's Point Road, open dawn to dusk): Snap the classic Nova Scotian pic plus chill on those dramatic rocks. Go early morning for fewer crowds—trust me!
2. Lunenburg (UNESCO World Heritage Site): Wander the colorful waterfront, check out the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, and grab fresh lobster rolls at The South Shore Fish Shack (108 Montague St.).
3. Halifax Waterfront: Take a walk, soak up the city vibes, and don’t miss the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 (open daily 10am-5pm). For coffee, stop by Weird Harbour Coffee for local brew.
My Pro Tips:
If you're renting a car, fuel up outside main towns—prices are way less. Tap water here is super clean, so bring a reusable bottle. Weather flips fast; always have a light jacket. Nova Scotia is card-friendly, but have some Canadian change for small local shops or parking meters.
Getting Around:
Driving is the game-changer—scenic routes will blow your mind and public transit is limited. Download offline maps beforehand; cell service gets spotty on the coast.
Food Faves:
Go wild with seafood chowder or try Digby scallops at a local restaurant. Blueberry pie is a sweet must at any bakery.
Quick Travel Tips:
No visa needed for most travelers from US/EU, but double-check on trip.com. Summer is best, but spring/fall are less crowded and still stunning.
