This was my first trip to the PH, and I totally skipped the classic beach scenes you always see on YouTube—no regrets! Tagaytay gave me the real, local feels, with unforgettable views and next-level coffee stops. People's Park in the Sky This park and observation deck is located on the ruins of the unfinished mansion of former President Ferdinand Marcos in Tagaytay, Philippines. Up here, the view is truly breathtaking. You can see Taal Lake, the city of Tagaytay, and the surrounding area. Some say it's especially beautiful at sunset. We think the place is old and dilapidated. If it were properly maintained, it would be even more beautiful. It's perfect for enjoying the view. Other than that, it's just so-so. We took a public bus from PITX Manila to Furo Mall, Tagaytay for about 3.5 hours ride. Mind you, it’s a free seating public bus with many stops, so don’t expect luxury and utmost comfort. Arrived Tagaytay at about 3pm, checked in at our bnb and had a quick freshen up before left to People’s Park in the Sky. The highlight of Tagaytay is Taal Lake and volcano view, and we already had the best view from out bnb balcony. That’s why after People’s Park, we just skipped all the other popular attraction spots because they all offered the same view, if not less, than what we saw from our balcony. And we can save money on tricycle too LOL! On the following day, we went to Puzzle Mansion, the world’s biggest jigsaw puzzle museum recognised by Guinness. Madam Georgina’s puzzle collection was simply stunning and amazing to look at. On our way back, we asked our kind tricycle driver to stop at the best buko store and he stopped at Cecilia’s. The buko pie sold here taste soooo good and fresh. So fresh that we kinda regret not be able to bring it back to our homecountry. Overall, our trip to Tagaytay was more on chill and healing side, not much on adventurous take. I didn't realise that Manila is very cosmopolitan 🇵🇭 Previously, I only changed planes in Manila, did not go out of the airport, went straight to the island, thought Manila is a place where there is nothing to visit, this time I had time to take a good look at the city, completely broke my prejudice against it, City centre is really very foreign ‼️ BGC--Bonifacio High Street is full of high-rise buildings, even the naming of the street is the same as that of New York, such as Fifth Avenue and so on, all the high-end office buildings, shopping malls, restaurants with good environment, net red coffee shops and so on. Makati - Makati shopping district, there are the highest level of shopping malls in Manila, just GreenBelt has 5 buildings, luxury goods are all in this side, the environment and the name of the mall, greenery is very good, everywhere is a tall green plants, the ground floor of the restaurant looks good. Manila Bay - Manila Bay, with one of the top ten most beautiful sunsets in the world, the sunset is really beautiful, there is also a huge mall next to the SM Mall of Aisa. Directly opposite the Ferris wheel Conrad Hotel restaurant on the third floor can be afternoon tea, stunning sunset view, very recommended. The old town citywalk, you can take a taxi directly to Intramuros Spanish King City, attractions and buildings are more concentrated, Fort Santigo is not open every day, you can check the opening date before you go. Attractions around there will be a lot of ‘guides’, pulling you to sit in the local Lamborghini (human tricycle), about ¥ 50 yuan for half an hour, nothing can be experienced. On the way to Tagaytay City, along Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road, I was looking for value for money BRUNCH, I noticed a 220php Bulalo special posted at Don Juan Native and Exotic Restaurant. I must try! It is good the resto has a good parking and the meals are priced very reasonably. I ordered bulalo special and their popular tapsi for only 140 php, and while waiting I ordered french fries for only 120php. The waiter gave me a free Kapeng Barako which is a strong coffee of Batangas. The food is very excellent like in a fine dining restaurant and price is very affordable. I am quite intrigued by the term "shambala" which actually means "a place of peace, tranquility or happiness". As I reached Shambala that was actually what I felt: peace and happiness! As I stepped the grounds, I could feel connection and harmony within me, the environment and the arts in the museum. It is an experienced museum as I stayed in the ifugao nipa huts, living like cordilleran people for an over night. If you’re looking for a chill and relaxing stay, Mount Sea Resort is the place to be. This place is warm and cozy, you can’t even feel that you’re in the city. The best thing here is their dining restaurant. Their specialty is the rabbit. It was my first time eating rabbit and I loved it! Other foods on the menu are also good and servings are of decent portions. One more thing, the receptionists and other staff are so nice and attentive to your needs! I highly recommend this place!

Santorini theme in Cavite Philippines knowk as Villa Colmenar. I have superb experience there, the pool was super cold even if the sun hitting you Lol 🤣. It is a nature spring by the way. I never fail to chase sunset in Manila bay every time I travel to Manila. Could not argue that still one of the best sunset destinations in the world. My heart is glad that nowadays visitors there and even locals are more aware in keeping the place clean.

I went to see the sunset over Manila Bay, which is said to be one of the three best sunsets in the world! 🌆 Unfortunately, it wasn't perfectly clear and there were a lot of clouds, so I couldn't see a beautiful sunset, but as the information online said, there were also locals there to see it. I had booked a hotel near Makati and planned to take a taxi back, but I got caught in rush hour traffic and couldn't find a Grab, so I walked back.
