Perfect for family water play, canopy picnics, and short overnight camping. Much quieter than Sanxi Reservoir. You can see small fish and shrimp in the creek, making it an ideal summer cooling spot. 💰No admission or site fees, completely wild and free. Accurate self-driving navigation (no detours) 📍Main water play creek spot (accessible by car) Preferred navigation: Fujian Jingliyuan Industrial Co., Ltd. Drive to the end, then go 100 meters further to a large open parking area. A few steps from the car to the creek beach, continuous shade, perfect for setting up a canopy, camping, or picnicking. 📍Public transportation Take Metro Line 6 to Wanshou Station or Zhenghe Station, then transfer to Bus 628 to "Shimen Station." From there, walk 1.5 km into the village. Self-driving is more convenient. Water play zones (divided by depth, family-friendly) 📍Shallow children’s area (next to Julong Bridge at village entrance) Water depth 30–80 cm, smooth stones, slow current. Suitable for kids to catch fish, play with water guns, and splash around. Fully shaded, no sun exposure worries. 📍Deep swimming pool area (main creek behind Jingliyuan) Mountain spring water, clear and transparent, depth 1.2–2 m. Natural pool feel, good for swimming, paddleboarding, and floating mats. Pebble bottom, so wear water shoes for grip. 📍Creek shallow camping area Lots of flat open space by the creek, shaded by large trees. Lay down picnic mats or set up a canopy. Barbecue and afternoon tea can be done all in one spot between water play. ⚠️Important reminder: no professional lifeguards, children must be accompanied by adults at all times. Water level rises sharply after rain, no swimming allowed. Complete camping guide 📍Two camping options Day camping by the creek (recommended for beginners and families) No overnight stay needed. No private showers, only simple public restrooms at the village entrance. Travel time & tips to avoid pitfalls 📍Best time to visit Summer from June to September. Very few people on weekdays. On weekends, arrive before 9 AM to secure the best shaded spots. After 3 PM, the sun is less intense for water play. 📍Avoidance tips The mountain road is gentle and fully accessible by car; an SUV is better for camping on dirt roads uphill. Mountain spring water is cold; acclimate before entering. Elderly and children should keep warm. No small shops by the creek, bring your own drinking water and snacks. Do not enter the water within 2 days after rain; the creek is murky and the current is strong. Mosquitoes are dense; bring insect repellent and anti-itch cream. The creek bottom is slippery with algae; no barefoot entry allowed. So take advantage of the weekend and head out now~📸🌳 Community Creation Center

Nestled next to verdant hills, the panda enclosure has a wonderfully wild vibe where you can leisurely watch these national treasures show off their cuteness. There's also a small animal park to soak in the vibrant energy of nature. We recommend arriving early in the morning when the animals are more active and the crowds are smaller. 🏨 Fliport Resort Haiyingwan Fuzhou Address: No. 1 Konggang Avenue This resort connects directly to a private beach and the sea, making it absolutely perfect for a slow, city-escape vacation. Feel the ocean breeze, stroll along the sandy shores, or splash around in the pool... Don't forget to book the airport shuttle service in advance for a hassle-free arrival. ⛩️ Shangxiahang (Upper and Lower Hang Streets) Address: Santong Road, Taijiang District (Open all day, year-round) The quintessential flavor of old Fuzhou streets and the most authentic local vibes are preserved right here. No need to bury your head in travel guides—just wander spontaneously. The streets are lined with century-old pastry shops alongside hipster cafes, with traditional Chinese architecture reflecting in the clear stream. You might stumble upon the aroma of fresh coffee, osmanthus cakes, and longan tangyuan (glutinous rice balls). It's bustling yet incredibly relaxing, serving as the best stage to experience the local lifestyle. 🍽️ Practical Itinerary Tips · Old Fuzhou Tossed Noodles: The areas around Shangxiahang and Sanfang Qixiang are hubs for local Fuzhou street food. Be sure to try the "Fish Ball Soup", "Meat-stuffed Kompyang", and "Rouyan" (meat-wrapper wontons). · While street food stalls are generally fine in terms of hygiene, it's best to choose the ones packed with locals. · The lawns at West Lake Park are absolutely perfect for a picnic or a quick nap. Remember to bring your own lightweight picnic mat and snacks. · If you love taking photos, try visiting West Lake, Panda World, and Shangxiahang on sunny days for the best scenery. In the mornings and evenings, you might even catch a beautiful mist rolling over the lake. 🚗 Transportation Tips · The city center has an extensive subway network; you can essentially take the subway to most major attractions. · The airport is about a half-hour drive from the city center. For those staying by the seaside, we recommend arranging hotel transfers in advance. Only by slowing down can you truly feel the healing magic hidden within Fuzhou's every plant, tree, sight, and bite. Are you ready to unpack your inner fatigue and treat yourself to a truly liberating journey?

Main Itinerary Recommendations 1. Fuzhou Changle International Airport ➜ Hampton by Hilton (Wusi Road) Upon landing in Fuzhou, whether you arrive morning, noon, or night, it's highly recommended to head straight to the Hampton by Hilton (252 Wusi Road). The location is prime and super accessible. It's surrounded by a bustling commercial district and a variety of local eats, maxing out your convenience factor. The hotel features free parking, a 24-hour gym, and a self-service laundromat, making it perfect for road-trippers or long-term stays. Their breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options, including authentic Fuzhou snacks. Staying here for your first night is a total steal. 2. West Lake Park — Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel (near Three Lanes and Seven Alleys) For your second day, I recommend switching to the Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel (158 Hubin Road) for a night! It has its own private walkway that leads right out to the century-old West Lake Park—seamlessly connecting you to a morning jog by the lake or a relaxing evening stroll. The hotel is within walking distance of Three Lanes and Seven Alleys and the Fujian Museum, letting you check off artsy vibes, nostalgia, and must-visit spots all at once. The service is five-star, and the made-to-order noodles and fresh-squeezed juice at breakfast are a delightful surprise. Perfect for a slow-paced city walk. 3. City Exploration Recommendations: Three Lanes and Seven Alleys & Panda World Three Lanes and Seven Alleys is the soul of Fuzhou's old city. Strolling through here lets you soak in the historic Mindu culture that has settled over the years. If you still have energy or are traveling with kids, I recommend taking a detour to Fuzhou Panda World (88 Mengshan Road, open year-round 08:30-17:30, entry stops at 17:00). Check out the adorkable daily lives of these national treasures while enjoying the lush greenery of the park—it's super photogenic! 4. Coastal Boardwalk Sunset Stroll Here comes the main event—you absolutely cannot miss the walking experience along Fuzhou's coastal boardwalks (like the Huangqi Blue Tears Boardwalk in Lianjiang, depending on your actual location). Built right against the cliffs with rolling blue waves just beneath your feet, the sea breeze brings a salty, refreshing breath of air. Walking along in the afternoon or evening, the scenery shifts with every step. Follow the trail to the end, find an open observation deck, and wait for the sun to set. Watching the afterglow dye the blue sea golden will make all your worries fade away with the sunset. Make sure to bring a towel to wipe your face, because the wind will leave your hair and skin feeling a bit sticky and salty, but that sheer sense of freedom and relaxation is so worth it! Surrounding Scenery & Nature Recommendations The poetic lakes and lotus flowers in the woods shown in the pictures are classic vibes you'll often find in Fuzhou's nature spots. Whether you love overlooking the coastline from afar or prefer wandering around lush lakes, Fuzhou lets you switch between the two in a heartbeat. Practical Travel Tips · Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel is right next to West Lake Park, perfect for those who want easy access to lake strolls and flower viewing, with several classic attractions just a walk away. · When catching the sunset on the coastal boardwalk, it's a good idea to bring a small shawl or a light jacket. Even on sunny days, the ocean breeze can get chilly. · If you want to see the lotus flowers and lake views, June to August is the prime time, but the sun is fierce, so remember to pack sunscreen & a sun hat. · During peak season, it's recommended to arrive at Panda World 30 minutes early. Keep an eye on real-time entry policies during pandemic periods. Food Recommendations · Around the city, you must try the clam rice noodles, Fuzhou fish balls, and Rouyan (meat-wrapper wontons). Hotel breakfasts usually feature these Fuzhou specialties as well. · The snack street at Three Lanes and Seven Alleys is a treasure trove! Don't miss out on local time-honored pastries, lotus seed soup, and Guangbing (kompia/Fuzhou bagels)!

Third stop: The watch of rocks and lighthouse Go to Xiasha Seaside Resort, where the elegant white Conch Tower is a landmark photo spot. The fine sandy slope continues to Wangmu Reef, where an 8-meter-high statue of Mazu stands on the rocks, gazing across at Meizhou Island in Putian. The romance of Changle is captured in every shutter click and savored in the fresh sweetness of every seafood bite. Take this guide and come to the Fuzhou seaside for a mountain and sea rendezvous.

In Zeli Village, Changle, Fuzhou, there is an astonishing village cultural center. Not only did it cost 13 million yuan to build, but it also replicates the appearance of the United States Supreme Court, earning it the nickname "The Rural White House" 👏. This cultural center was funded by overseas Chinese who returned to China and was completed in 2005. Its grand colonnade, symmetrical structure, and exquisite reliefs exude solemnity and grandeur everywhere. The stone lions, fountain, and goddess statue at the entrance echo the Aofeng Temple pagoda on the distant mountain, perfectly blending Eastern and Western aesthetics. Though the village has few residents, its infrastructure is very complete. Behind this "luxury" lies the deep affection and gratitude of the overseas Chinese for their homeland. Standing in front of the cultural center, you can feel the architectural impact and also understand a touching story of the overseas Chinese community. 📍 Address: Zeli Village Cultural Center, Changle District, Fuzhou 💡 Tips: · The cultural center is free to visit and perfect for photo opportunities; every shot looks like a masterpiece. · Aofeng Temple on the mountain offers a panoramic view of the Min River estuary and is worth a visit. · Navigate to "Zeli Village Cultural Center" for easy access and convenient parking.

In Qiantang Village, Changle, Fuzhou, there is a lesser-known waterfall comparable to Baizhangji. The water flows like a white rainbow drinking from the ravine, a jade dragon descending the mountain, and snow flying over the beach—every frame is a healing masterpiece 👏. This waterfall below the reservoir features a curved water curtain cascading from the stone dam top, splashing silver-white water droplets on the black rocks. Next to it, a natural stream rushes down. The best part is the row of stone pier trails winding into the water. Walking on them, you have flowing water beneath your feet and a flying water curtain beside you, as if you are inside a traditional Chinese landscape painting. The waterfall is especially stunning after rain, with abundant water flow and a curtain-like water screen. Every snapshot is a masterpiece. This place is quiet and less crowded, free from commercial noise, with only the sounds of water, wind, and birds. It’s an excellent spot to cool off in summer and escape the city. ⚠️ Tips: · Navigate to Qiantang Village, turn left after crossing the village entrance bridge towards the reservoir. Driving is the most convenient. · There are no toilets near the waterfall; public restrooms are available by the village entrance bridge, requiring a short walk. · Water flow is stronger after rain, making for better photos. Remember to take your trash with you to protect this natural beauty. 📍Address: Qiantang Village, Guhuai Town, Changle District, Fuzhou (Waterfall below the reservoir)

The Chen Family Residence on Heping Ancient Street in Changle, Fuzhou, holds the century-old heritage of the Ming Dynasty Sima Mansion, where the weight of municipal-level cultural protection meets the elegance of karesansui in a perfect embrace 👏. This four-courtyard mansion, rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty, is the largest and most intact ancient house in Changle City, covering an area of 1,780 square meters. At the entrance, the "Fengxian Shibei" stele, pieced together from eight fragments, carries a strong sense of historical stories. Stepping into the courtyard, the white gravel and rain chains outline the karesansui landscape, with bonsai scattered throughout, instantly filling the Chinese garden with Zen ambiance. The biggest surprise is the small courtyard's "Hua Ji" (flower base), with patterns of treasure vases, lotuses, and pomegranates carved into the stone walls, symbolizing blessings, prosperity, and many children. This unique architectural art is exclusive to the rainy southern regions and is truly a "hidden Easter egg" within the ancient house. Wooden beams and columns, carved doors and windows, and weathered stone walls complement each other, with sunlight streaming through the courtyard, each corner revealing the delicacy of Oriental aesthetics. While the ancient street is still under renovation and the crowds are few and quiet, come quickly to this century-old deep residence to unlock the secrets of karesansui and architecture within the ancient house. 📍Address: Chen Family Residence, Heping Ancient Street, Changle District, Fuzhou

Fuzhou Changle has discovered a treasure bookstore! Hidden inside the sales office of Dadonghai New World in Changle, Fuzhou, the "Mirror Book Sea" is like a mini version of Zhongshuge, with a magical space design that makes every photo a visual masterpiece 👏. The bookstore features a mirrored ceiling as its core highlight, instantly expanding the sense of space. This small area of just dozens of square meters transforms into a transparent book corridor. The wavy curved staircase seating extends layer by layer, with warm light strips outlining smooth lines, intertwining with walls full of books to form a "book sea vortex," maximizing the artistic feel. Whether shooting a panoramic top-down view to capture the rhythm of the space or taking portraits using the mirror to create a sense of depth, the photos come out amazing. The only downside is the limited angles and the space is not very large. This place is not only great for photos but also a cozy reading corner. After exploring Binhai New City, why not take a break here and flip through a few pages in the flowing light and shadow of the book sea. There is a parking lot at the entrance, and navigation is super convenient. It’s a new hidden gem for trips around Fuzhou. 📍Address: Inside the sales office of Dadonghai New World, Binhai New City, Changle District, Fuzhou

The rice noodle shop I often eat at Dongjiekou Already opened to Chang Le 🎉🎉 As soon as you enter the door, there is an open operating table on the left hand side. The staff is busy with hands and feet, hand-wrapping cold dishes and preparing drinks. The movements are smooth and you feel healing👀 The decoration of the shop is simple and simple, wooden tables and chairs, warm yellow lighting, with 🌶️ chili, 🫒 vegetable basket, 🫖 retro clay pot and other small furnishings, really like going to the southwest streets, although the area is not large, but full of details very attractive! After eating, I took a picture and posted it on my circle of friends. I was immediately asked for my address. This kind of atmosphere is warm and comfortable, very down-to-earth! There is no sense of distance from a celebrity shop at all! It's super chill to eat alone🍜 and they turn tables very quickly, 20-30 minutes a round. It's a rice noodle shop that makes me crazy! ! ! 💥 ◼️ Guizhou Fresh Meat Red Sour Soup Rice Noodles Ready-to-eat, the portion scared me when it was served, full of a big bowl, the girls ate alone! The rice noodles slide into your mouth as soon as you take a sip🍜 It's so bouncy! Hanging full of thick red soup, super tasty, there is a big piece of meat inside, red soup sour and spicy appetizer, I do not eat spicy, but can clear all. The sourness is rich but not greasy, and I drank a few sips of the soup~ ◼️ Hand-wrapped pineapple This dish broke my perception of hand-cooked food. Because I always thought that braised rice was exclusively for chicken legs, this is the first time I ate braised fruit! Watching the shopkeeper pound the fresh pineapple at the operating table until it is slightly juicy, the fruity aroma is overflowing. 🍍 Thought it was a refreshing taste, but there was a hidden "careful mind" - mixed with the slightly spicy stimulation of millet spicy, spicy and addictive. ◼️ Yunnan sour corn juice It smells like sour plum juice, but the entrance is another feeling, 🌿 rich fruity aroma mixed with a light herbal flavor, ice-cold drink super cool. Although there is no lid, it doesn't matter~ because it's quickly consumed in the store. 💡 Sitting under a warm light, eating rice noodles, eating fruit, drinking juice, the atmosphere is directly full ~ No need to go to Fuzhou, at home to eat authentic Southwest flavor ~ and the photos are very beautiful! The happiness that small county towns can have, go and try it! ! 🏠Store: Wild Bird Southwest Sour Soup Rice Noodles (Chang Lok Store) 📍Address: No. 144, Longjing Road, Changle District
