The experience blends scenic beauty with adventure, making it ideal for enjoying nature's beauty. The ticket was economical and the views were amazing. A must travel experience and yeah do have snacks with drinks 🥤 for more fun.

Boarding my delayed flight to Dallas from Nashville. I may miss my connection to Durango, Colorado. It now departs at 8 AM. Being a frequent traveler has its challenges. I am looking forward to some much-needed rest and relaxation during Labor Day week in beautiful Durango, Colorado.

This was our sixth trip with Uncommon Journeys, and we’ve never been disappointed. Our journey began in Denver, delivering an amazing experience! We met our driver, Joe Jerns, who was exceptionally professional and friendly as both a driver and tour guide. He managed our luggage, provided an endless supply of water bottles, kept to the scheduled pit stops, and even accommodated extra stops as needed. The new Mercedes van was very comfortable, and Joe's driving skills made us feel safe throughout the trip. The train rides were an absolute delight. Joe even arranged for an inside tour of the locomotive in Leadville for those of us who were interested. The trip highlights included the Durango Silverton train and the Cumbres Toltec train, both offering full-day experiences filled with stunning scenery. Our group of 13 consisted entirely of train enthusiasts, which made having a common interest all the more enjoyable. As noted earlier, this was our sixth journey with Uncommon Journeys, and we’re already booked for another in Copper Canyon, Mexico, this November—it’ll be our second visit there because the first was so fantastic! We have always been treated with respect, and Christopher Kyte, the owner, has been consistently delightful during our trips. The drivers and guides have been outstanding, always making an effort to accommodate everyone in the group. We’ve never had a bad experience!
