Next to the giant Abu Simbel Temple is a smaller temple built in memory of Fanali, the queen of Ramses II. I was already amazed by the photos in the travel books, and I was even more shocked when I saw it with my own eyes. Our chartered car came with an English tour guide who explained it to us before entering.
