A different thing to experience in Bagan Myanmar

#favouriteitinerary Bagan is a very popular city in Myanmar, known for its ancient temples and pagodas. The city is filled with history itself. There are many activities to do such as watching the sunrise on the top of a temple, flying on a hot air balloon from a bird’s view of the city, etc. A new thing I recommend is to connect with the local kids there. Bagan hasn’t been getting tourists due to the reduced tourism in Myanmar. These kids here make a living from getting $1-2 as tips for explaining their knowledge in English to tourists. It’s really amazing how they barely have enough for education there yet try very hard to learn the history in English or other languages to make a living! They braided me and my mom’s hair beautifully as appreciation!
