The Great Wall of Juyongguan is worth visiting again and again

Juyongguan is a famous ancient pass city along the Great Wall in the north of Beijing, and also one of the castles in China. It is one of the 'Nine Fortresses of the World' and one of the 'Eight Passes of Taihang', and is a national cultural relics protection unit. Juyongguan is also known as the 'First Stronghold in the World', similar to Jiayuguan, but the two passes are located in different east-west positions, and Jiayuguan was built earlier than Juyongguan. It is equivalent to Jiayuguan (built in 1372) was built nine years earlier than Shanhaiguan (built in 1381). The pass city is located in the valley of the Jundu Mountain, which is the extension of the Taihang Mountains. The west mountain is steep, with a huge canyon below, cliffs and steep walls, and the terrain is extremely dangerous. Juyongguan, Zijingguan, Daomaguan, and Guguan are known as the four famous passes in the west of Beijing during the Ming Dynasty, among which Juyongguan, Zijingguan, and Daomaguan are also known as the inner three passes. Juyongguan is one of the four important passes. The four important passes are Nankou, Juyongguan, Shangguan, and Badaling.
