I've been longing for this place for a long time, set off from Tongzhou at 6:00 in the morning, and met up with friends in Haidian. It took 3 hours to drive to the village at the foot of Lama Gorge. The first day after the rain, the sky was still filled with large white clouds. We walked upstream through the "rainforest", the stones by the stream were covered with moss, and the dead trees by the road were filled with colorful mushrooms everywhere; sunlight filtered through the forest, beams of light shuttled between the mushrooms, plants, and moss. After reaching the top of the mountain, the sky cleared completely, with cliffs and the setting sun. In the evening we hadn't come down the mountain, until 20:00 when it was dark, we blindly entered a valley. Tired, we lay on the huge rocks by the stream and watched the stars all over the sky, with the Milky Way crossing the entire valley. The space station and meteor showers broke through the night sky one by one. It turned out that we had encountered the Perseid meteor shower, and when we looked up to count the stars, a chain of blue stars slowly crossed the sky (rumored to be Musk's Starlink project).
