On the second day in Nepal, after coming down from Chandragiri Hills, I arrived in Bhaktapur, also known as Bhadgaon, this ancient city that rose in the 12th century, is simple and ancient. I stayed at The Nanee, a newly opened hotel not far from Durbar Square. The entrance is inconspicuous on the street, but after entering, the courtyard-style design blends with the red brick and wooden architecture of Nepal, with a modern design and artistic sense. The room I stayed in was a small duplex with a loft, next to an old dilapidated house, which did not clash with The Nanee hotel at all. The comfortable big bed, bathtub, wooden staircase chandelier, toiletries, and full of quality of life. It's worth mentioning the cuisine here. We had Nepalese food for lunch and Western food for dinner. They were authentic and delicious. Having a cup of coffee was extremely comfortable. Although there are not many guest rooms, they are all very exquisite. From the details of the room supplies, it can be seen that the hotel has spent a lot of effort in improving the comfort. It is a very light luxury hotel. In the afternoon, wandering in the ancient city, at dusk, the lights on the rooftop terrace light up, intoxicated by the night of Bakhtapur ancient city, feeling like you are the brightest star in the night sky. You can have a rooftop party, which is even more comfortable. This hotel has a separate courtyard, next to a centuries-old well. The combination of historical sediment and modern hotel injects new ideas into the ancient city and soothes travelers. The gentle embrace of the night wraps around me as I soak in a bathtub. The two-hour time difference allows me to fall asleep at just the right time. In the morning, the slanting sunlight shone through the curtains and woke me up. I am a hurried pedestrian, and after breakfast, I will head to Pokhara. I believe that this warm hotel, courtyard, restaurant, terrace, and room style will remain in my memory. I love them all. If you come to Bardagang, it is definitely worth recommending.
