Clifton Suspension Bridge - Bristol, UK

This suspension bridge is built across the Avon Gorge, linking Clifton (Bristol) and Leigh Woods (North Somerset). This suspension bridge is built and opened in 1864. The bridge deck is suspended by 162 vertical wrought-iron rods in 81 matching pairs. It has been a venue for some significant events (e.g. handover venue of the Olympic Torch relay in 2012.) To get here, take No 8 circular bus from Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station and alight at Clifton Village.
