Our Lady of Mount Carmel Monastery – Naga City

The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Monastery, also known as the Carmel of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, is a Carmelite monastery located on Monastery Road in Concepcion Pequeña, Naga City, Philippines. Established in 1949 by two American sisters, the monastery has served as a center for prayer and contemplation for over 70 years. The nuns lead a cloistered life dedicated to prayer for souls, the Church, and the world. Visitors are welcome to experience the monastery’s serene environment, ideal for reflection and meditation. The monastery is also known for producing and selling communion wafers, including garlic-flavored flakes, as a means of supporting their community. Please note that as a cloistered community, the nuns maintain a life of silence and prayer, so visitors are encouraged to respect their contemplative environment during their visit.
