First of all, the unique, futuristic and powerful streamlined form that is typical of Zaha Hafen's architecture leaves a strong impression. When seen from above, it looks like some kind of new type of game, and when seen from the side, it is reminiscent of an alien opening its mouth to swallow the city, and when seen up close, it overwhelms visitors with its incredible power. The walls are unified in a clean, white color with continuous curves. In the center of the front of the main theater, there is glass with a strong presence and a grid at the bottom. The sides are characterized by a streamlined, long-span overlapping roof with a smooth, beautiful curve, and slanted windows that gently let in natural light. The interior design is just as surprising as the exterior. The continuous fine curves of the ceiling make it seem as if you are watching an underwater creature breathe through its gills from inside the womb. The stairs and passageways are shaped in such a way that they seem as if they will be swallowed up into the next space without interfering with the design, like tubes connecting organs. This is one of Zaha's most impactful works, and it has a strong impression similar to the Heydar Aliyev Center in Azerbaijan, famous for its beautiful fluidity, and Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul, with its deconstructed form that exudes absolute presence.It is a work that will move and overwhelm you even if you don't have much knowledge or interest in architecture.
