It was unearthed from the Han Tomb of Beishantou in Chaohu City in 1997. The carving technique is sophisticated and the shape is beautiful, especially the combination of the pattern of "Vermillion Bird holding a ring and stepping on a tiger", which shows the legacy of Chu culture and reflects the conflict of ideology and culture in the Han Dynasty. This jade cup is not only the pinnacle of jade craftsmanship in the Han Dynasty, but also provides important physical materials for the study of the economy, culture and history of Nanchao in the Han Dynasty. ✅Western Han Dynasty - Gilded Bronze Vermilion Bird (Figure ❻): This bronze gilded divine bird ornament was unearthed from the Fangwanggang Han Tomb in Chaohu City in 1996. The Vermilion Bird symbolizes good luck in traditional Chinese culture and is one of the four major totems in ancient times. However, three-dimensional Vermilion Bird artifacts are extremely rare. In 1997, Chaohu City Museum was built on the basis of the restoration and protection of the original site of Fangwanggang Han Tomb; it was officially opened on April 23, 2004.
