Preah Vihear Temple

Preah Vihear Temple, Cambodia It is a Hindu-style stone temple located in the Phnom Dong Reak mountain range, Preah Vihear Province of Cambodia. It has Khmer architecture built in a north-south direction, which is different from most Khmer temples. Preah Vihear Temple is in the Banteay Srei style, with some features similar to the temples of Angkor Wat. The carvings on the temple are believed to be a religious site of the Shaivite Hindu religion, with Shiva as the highest god of the religion.
