Please check it out. 🚄 Preparation: High-speed train: Depart from Shanghai Hongqiao Station and take a morning high-speed train to Qiandao Lake, which takes about 2 hours. I recommend the 10:50 am train, so you don't have to get up early. 🏨 Accommodation: • Qiandao Lake Voco Sunlight Hotel: Located in the central lake area of Qiandao Lake, close to Tianyu Mountain Scenic Area. I recommend a central lake view room, so you can see the lake view of Qiandao Lake when you open the window. 🌟 Day 1: 🚄10:51 am–12:40 pm Shanghai Hongqiao–Qiandao Lake Station 🚗12:50 am–1:20 pm Arrive at the hotel Take a taxi to the hotel to drop off your luggage and freshen up. The drive to the hotel takes about half an hour. 🥣1:30–2:30 pm Lunch You must have fish soup when you come to Qiandao Lake. I found a restaurant near the hotel, Shuibian Renjia. Their fish soup is fresh, and the stir-fried dishes are flavorful and have a good wok hei. ⛰️3:00–5:00 pm Tianyu Mountain This is a great spot to watch the sunset. I recommend taking the elevator up the mountain. There are three escalators going up the mountain, each with a different view. You can enjoy the view of Qiandao Lake on the escalator. I recommend taking the water slide down the mountain. The ride is quite long and a great experience. It's fast but not too exciting. 🗼5:00–6:00 pm Qiandao Lake Lighthouse Go to the iconic Qiandao Lake Lighthouse, a popular spot for couples to take photos and enjoy the beautiful lake view. 🍴6:30–7:30 pm Dinner We ate at Bensansui in Qiandao Lake Intime City, a Jiangxi restaurant for those who love spicy food. I recommend their chopped pepper fish head, which is cooked in a pressure cooker and very flavorful. ✅7:30–8:00 pm Qilong Lane After dinner, you can go to Qilong Lane near Intime City. The lane is small. You can buy fridge magnets as souvenirs. 🌟 Day 2: 🥣10:30–11:00 am Breakfast at the hotel, pack your luggage, and store your suitcase. 🍃11:30 am–1:30 pm Qiandao Lake Botanical Garden This is a beautiful and less crowded spot. It's a great place to enjoy the fresh air and tranquility of the forest. There is also a deer park where you can buy carrots for CNY 10 to feed the deer. 🍽️2:00–3:00 pm Lunch Jiangnan Xiaoxu: I recommend their pickled fish, which is sour and spicy and goes well with rice. The dumplings are also good, glutinous and chewy. ☕️3:30–4:30 pm Le Serein Sunset Coffee After lunch, go to a lakeside cafe near the hotel. It's a great place to sit by the lake and relax while waiting for the sunset. 🚗5:10 pm Depart for the high-speed train station. 🚄6:10–8:26 pm Qiandao Lake Station–Shanghai Hongqiao The pleasant journey is over.
