Cinque Torri Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Cinque Torri: A Visual Journey Through the Historical Traces of Courage and Valor 🏰📸
🔫 The Cinque Torri area stands as a poignant testament to the epic battles fought during the Great War. With historic machine gun and artillery emplacements, as well as vast networks of trenches, it preserves the memory of the bravery and sacrifice of those who came before us. This awe-inspiring location not only offers an opportunity to capture stunning photos but also allows us to honor the heroes who fought for their beliefs. 📷🌠💫 As I walked through the remnants of those dark times, I couldn't help but reflect on the courage and resilience that defined that era. Standing amidst the ruins, I felt a deep sense of gratitude for those who had fought and paid the ultimate price for our freedom. It was as if the echoes of their valor lingered in the air, reminding us of the importance of standing up for what we believe in. 🏰🌄🙏

5 THINGS YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT THE DOLOMITES 🇮🇹🏔️😍
Put on your hiking shoes and get ready for some jaw dropping views 🥹 The Dolomites are the perfect place to visit for adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts! Here are our tips:
🗺️ Places to visit / Things to do:
1. Lago di Braies: The most beautiful lake in the Dolomites which can be accessed by car. The boats can only be rented during summer and are a bit overpriced 😅 It’s worth it though 🛶
2. Lago di Braies: Due to the easy accessibility the lake gets very crowded throughout the day. Either visit early in the morning or before sunset to avoid the crowds 💦
3. Tre Cime di Lavaredo - Basic Hike: Park at Rifugio Auronzo (quite expensive) and walk around the 3 peaks (beginner friendly) 🥾
4. Cave at Tre Cime di Lavaredo: Start the basic hike and go to Dreizinnenhütte. Behind it you can already see the caves. The hike takes very long and depending on the season it can be easy or difficult (we went in May with melting snow and it took 12 hours) 😅
5. Alpe di Siusi: You can only drive up by car if you book a hotel. Otherwise you need to take the cable car 🚠 There are different ones but our favorite is the one from St. Ulrich.
6. Malga Sanon at Alpe di Siusi: Don‘t miss this restaurant with the cute lookout at Alpe di Siusi ❤️
7. The Restaurant also has a swing with an amazing view 🥹
8. Lago di Sopapis 💙 Park at the hotel B&B Passo Tre Croici Cortina and start the hike from there. It‘s not hard but takes 2 hours to reach the lake.
9. Val di Funes 💚 The viewpoint is next to the church Santa Maddalena. Park in the town and walk up the street because it‘s very narrow.
10. Seceda 🏔️ Take the cable car in St. Ulrich (around 35€ pP, dogs allowed with muzzle). The incredible view is next to the station 😍
Other places to see:
-Gardena Pass
-Cadini di Misurina
🚗 How to get around
-To reach all the starting points of the hikes you definitely need a car. Be prepared for high parking fees. cr:wanderlust_samoyed& Contact us for removal
Dolomites are healing enough
The vast Dolomites region is full of endless scenery, making people lost in choices.
But if you look carefully, only a few places can show the beauty of the Dolomites to the fullest, as if you have stepped into an amazing wonderland.
Today, we have carefully selected the most popular and representative scenic spots in the Dolomites for everyone, and listed how to reach these treasure check-in places.
It's convenient for everyone to remember quickly: four mountains, four lakes, and two churches. It's enough to go to these places in the Dolomites!
Seceda Mountain」
Take the cable car directly from Ortisei (39.5 euros round trip, youth 21 euros round trip) or walk to Furnes from Ortisei, and then take the cable car to reach (24 euros round trip, youth 15.5 euros round trip)
Note: The cable car is divided into two sections, Ortisei-Furnes-Seceda Mountain, even if you buy a direct cable car ticket to Seceda Mountain, you have to take it in sections
Tre Cime Mountain」
🚌Cortina, Dobbiaco, and Lake Misurina all have buses that can reach the foot of Tre Cime Mountain
The most economical method, but also the most time-consuming and laborious, is to walk about 2 hours from Lake Misurina to reach the foot of the mountain
🚗Self-driving needs to queue to enter the parking lot at the foot of the mountain, the entrance fee is 30 euros
Note: No matter what method, the destination is Rifugio Auronzo at the foot of the mountain, Tre Cime Mountain can only be reached on foot, and the hut is the classic starting point.
Cadini di Misurina viewing point」
It's not far from the starting point of Tre Cime Mountain, so the transportation method is the same as above. After leaving the hut, you need to walk 3.2 kilometers (round trip) to reach the viewing point. The road along the way is quite dangerous and needs to be extra careful
Sassolungo Mountain」
🚠Take the cable car from Ortisei (round trip 28 euros, youth 19.6 euros) to Alpe di Siusi, where you can overlook the entire Sassolungo peak on a peaceful alpine meadow
Lago di Carezza」🚌Take the 180 route from Bolzano (3-5 euros) to reach, about 50 minutes
Lago di Braies」🚌Take the 445 route from Cortina d'Ampezzo to Dobbiaco bus station, then transfer to the 442 bus
Lago di Sorapis」
🚌Take the 30/31 route from Cortina d'Ampezzo, get off at Passo Tre Croci, and proceed along the 215 trail (6 kilometers long) to reach
Lago di Misurina」
🚌Take the 30/31 route from Cortina d'Ampezzo to reach
Santa Maddalena Church」
🚌Take the 120, 132, 180 routes from Bolzano to reach the town of Santa Maddalena, and then walk to reach
San Giovannani in Ranui Church」
🚌It's not far from Santa Maddalena Church, the transportation method is the same
