Midu River Scenic Area is located in the Baili Rhododendron Administration Area of Bijie City, Guizhou Province. It is a national 3A-level tourist attraction with rich rare vegetation, including pyracantha, prickly pear, wild Sichuan pepper, white oak, ring-cupped oak, and Chinese chestnut, among others. The scenic area also features famous spots such as the Midu River Waterfall, Divine Spring, Three-layer Water, Listening Water Platform, and Brocade Box Cliff, known for its beauty as the 'Little Huangguoshu Waterfall'. The riverbed is filled with peculiar rocks, and the water is so clear that the bottom can be seen. The banks are lined with lush trees and green vines, with the sound of birdsong echoing throughout. In the mountains, there is no human voice, only the elegant and pleasant sound of nature. Surrounding the scenic area are ginkgo trees that form a forest on their own, wild osmanthus trees, and bayberry trees. Here, one can see another aspect of the Hundred-Mile Rhododendron—a natural landscape painting of ancient trees reaching the sky, birds singing in the serene mountains, and a continuous bloom of flowers throughout the four seasons.
