Dali, Yunnan - a paradise awaits

Attractions - While in Dali, I had a fantastic view of Erhai lake as well as visiting a beautiful place similar to Santorini. Here there were many people taking pictures as it was a beautiful day. But not everywhere was crowded. To get here, I took a Didi around the lake (approx 15mins from the hotel). Hotels - I stayed in Dali for 5 days, all at a fantastic little place called "Dali ManDi Guesthouse." Their was sufficient breakfast in the morning and the owner was very helpful in picking me up from the train station and taking me to the airport on my way back. It's a little way up a hill, but there are plenty of Didis available to get to where you need to go. Food & Restaurants - Restaurants near the hotel is limited but you can find some decent food on Meituan. You can also walk around the old ancient streets for authentic food. Shopping - Definitely check out the old ancient town on the other side of the lake but wear decent shoes! #beautifulsunsets#lakes
