Wudang Mountain tourism, explained in one go

Hiking in Wudang Mountain refers to the route to the Golden Summit✓, the cable car takes about 8 minutes one way, while hiking takes about 2.5 to 5 hours one way. You can hike from Qiongtai to the Golden Summit (which is quite steep), or from Nanyan to the Golden Summit (which is relatively gentle, but takes longer). For accommodation, you can stay at the Golden Summit VIP Building, which is right next to the cable car station, a 10-minute walk from the Golden Summit. The hotel offers views of the sunrise and has a restaurant. The accommodation fee includes breakfast, and the usual price is around 1000 yuan, though occasionally there might be special deals for around 400 yuan. Qiongtai is one of the Taoist temples in Wudang, and the cable car to the Golden Summit also departs from here. To the right of the Qiongtai gate is the entrance for hiking up the mountain. In the evening, you can see a flock of crows circling in the sky here; in Taoism, crows are considered birds that bring good news. Compared to cable car tourists, hikers can visit more attractions such as San Tian Men, Hui Xian Bridge, Chao Tian Palace, Lao Mei Shrine, and Crow Ridge. On the way from the Seven-Star Tree to Nanyan, you will pass Crow Ridge. In the morning, there are people feeding the crows at Crow Ridge. With a shout, a flock of crows flutters over. I was fortunate to witness this once, and it was truly an eye-opener! Indeed, it is Crow Ridge. Key point: Hiking in Wudang Mountain is only limited to the areas between Qiongtai, the Golden Summit, and Nanyan. Other important attractions are accessible by sightseeing buses that stop there, and the sightseeing bus is a must-buy! Hiking is more suitable for tourists who stay overnight on the mountain, as they have ample time and can enjoy richer scenery along the way, such as the sunrise and sunset, feeding the crows, and so on...
