| A Hidden 'Three Teachings' Ancient Temple in the Deep Mountains of Chengdu. 🔸 Located 5 kilometers from the ancient town of Xinchang, by the Hujiao River, there is a temple hidden in the deep mountains. It was initially built by ancestors to commemorate Li Bing's water control achievements and later evolved into a temple integrating Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, with a history of over 400 years. 🔸 The main hall enshrines a statue of Li Bing, the King of Sichuan, and the side halls enshrine statues of Manjushri, Samantabhadra, Lü Dongbin, and Zhang Sanfeng. It is a typical temple integrating the 'Three Teachings' of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism‼️ 🔸 Chuanwang Palace is characterized by the architectural style of western Sichuan. All buildings are wooden structures, and the temple breaks the traditional symmetrical layout of temples. The overall structure is a three- or four-entry courtyard, with a long corridor running through the temple, extending along the riverbank in a T-shape, gradually rising to connect to an octagonal pavilion.
