We arrived in Derinkuyu, from Goreme to Derinkuyu. You can feel a different world. One is a city derived from tourism, while Derinkuyu is a very simple town. There are not many shops in the town, only houses. People live a simple life. Even if there is a tourist attraction, most of the tour buses will be outside the attraction instead of entering the whole town. What we feel is different. It was an ordinary small town. We put all our luggage in the security room of the tourist attraction. After touring the underground city, we just walked around the town. Experiencing an ordinary life in Türkiye, outside a tea shop, there are twenty or thirty elderly people opening newspapers, drinking black tea, and smoking cigarettes in their hands. A simple morning was spent outside the teahouse. As we walked, we came to another park, where many uncles and aunts were sitting and playing board games. With a cup of hot tea, each person sat at one side of the table and had some fun. We were also invited to sit next to them. We sat there leisurely and watched them use their brains and show off their skills at the table. They don't need wifi, they don't need the internet. All I want is a cup of hot tea and some friends. In their eyes, happiness can indeed come easily. Soon, it was time for prayer at the mosque. Some of their believers put down their work and slowly walked to the mosque to pray. Just be happy. From the attractions of the underground city, it can be seen that people built a complete underground city in order to escape persecution. Ventilation is also suitable for people living. At that time, the city had more than ten floors, and now eight floors are open, so the city can accommodate 30,000 people. In the cave, I felt it was cramped and stuffy. It is hard to imagine how people felt living in a world without sunlight at that time. I believe that in life, just like those people, there are some things that cannot be forced, but they still use their own hands to build their own world.
