Leisure time at Everest Base Camp

The day before at Gawula Pass, I was fortunate enough to witness the spectacular view of the sunrise over Mount Everest. At that moment, the sun shone on the peak of Everest, as if the whole world was dyed gold. 🌄 In the evening, I chose to stay overnight in Basong Village. The tranquility here contrasts sharply with the magnificence of Everest. The next morning, I took the shuttle bus to Everest Base Camp. The weather was surprisingly good, and there were very few tourists in winter, making it feel like my own world. 🏔️ At the base camp, I chose to 'let go', leisurely enjoying the tranquility and awe that this pure land brings me. But having said that, the view of Everest from Gawula Pass was the most awe-inspiring. The perspective and light there were just right, giving me a deeper reverence for the wonders of nature. 🙏 On this trip to Everest, I not only enjoyed the beautiful scenery, but also found inner peace in letting go. Perhaps, the meaning of travel lies in these inadvertent moments and feelings. 🌈
