Horseback Riding ✅️ | Genghis Khan Statue Complex 🏇✨ The first destination is the Genghis Khan Statue, the world's largest equestrian statue! It looks magnificent from afar, but when you get closer, your mouth will drop open. The figure of Genghis Khan wearing silver armor and riding a horse is very majestic, and the inside of the statue is decorated like a museum, so you can learn about Mongolian history. If you take the elevator to the observatory above the statue, you can see the wide open grassland in 360 degrees... The view is truly spectacular. It was the moment when I thought, "This is Mongolia!" The magnificence of nature and the legend of Genghis Khan were combined to create a moving experience. - ✅️ | Turtle Rock 🐢⛰️ The second is a work of art created by nature, Turtle Rock! A rock that really looks like a turtle is located right in the middle of a peaceful meadow. It is said to be a symbol of good luck in this area, so I made a wish in front of Turtle Rock. The area near the rock is quiet and the air is refreshing, so it is a perfect spot to take a break. I took a commemorative photo next to the rock and was able to feel relaxed while staying in nature for a while. ✅️ | Ariyabal Temple 🕉️️🌄 The third place I visited was Ariyabal Temple located in the mountains. The path up to the temple is quite steep and there are many stairs, but there are Buddhist sayings and phrases to calm the mind written on the side of the road as I walked up, so my mind was calm the whole time. When I arrived at the temple and looked down at the surrounding scenery, I felt really refreshed! The quiet temple bell, the sound of the wind, the sound of birds… everything was healing. The temple itself is beautiful, and Mongolian traditions and Buddhism are well-blended, so I was able to feel a moment of meditation. ✅️ | Horseback Riding Experience 🐎💨 The last highlight was the horseback riding experience! I think the experience of riding a horse through the Mongolian grasslands will be something I will remember for the rest of my life. I was a little nervous at first, but the horses were so gentle and the guide was kind, so I quickly became comfortable. The scenery from the horseback ride was another world. The wind blowing through the grasslands, the sound of horse hooves, the land spread out under the blue sky… I felt like I was the main character in a movie! It was a short time, but it was a moment where I could really feel this land while communing with Mongolian nature. ✅️ | Overall It was only one day, but it was a really fulfilling and profound trip.
