“Flavors of the Silk Road: A Journey Through Uzbek Cuisine”

Making kebab is one of my favorite cooking experiences. I love the process from start to finish—especially when I prepare beef kebabs. First, I marinate the meat with spices, a little bit of oil, onions, and sometimes yogurt to make it tender and flavorful. I always add a touch of chili to make it slightly spicy, just the way I like it. Skewering the meat is fun, and the sizzling sound when it hits the grill makes me excited every time. I enjoy watching the kebabs slowly cook, turning golden brown on the outside while staying juicy inside. The smell fills the air and reminds me of home, family, and celebration. Serving the kebabs with fresh bread, sliced onions, and maybe a bit of salad is the perfect way to enjoy them. Every time I make kebab, it feels like I’m bringing a piece of Uzbek tradition to the table.
