Lake Matheson - the iconic reflective lake

Nice, scenic walk! Very easy terrain. A little wet on the day that we went. It took us 1.5 hr for a brisk walk on the entire loop. A stroll would probably take ~2 hrs. Took us 30 minutes drive from Franz Josef Village. There is a proper parking lot with a cafe and a little souvenir shop. Nice place to rest at after the walk. #newzealand #walks #scenic
