This place with the smell of sulfur and the plumes of smoke appears after passing through a misty grove of white birch trees along the Bandai Azuma Skyline in Fukushima Prefecture. At an altitude of about 1,400 meters, it is very cool and comfortable even in summer at 21℃ to 24℃☺️ Alpine plants such as gentian grow naturally, and the Jododaira Marsh has a well-maintained promenade, so people of all ages and genders can enjoy hiking here. It is only about 10 minutes from the parking lot to the summit of Azuma Kofuji. The crater rim is one-way, clockwise.
