The stone lions in Sichuan are so delightful

During a leisurely stroll in Fanghu Park in Guanghan City, wandering along the lakeside paths, inhaling the fresh scent of lotus leaves, admiring the beauty of the bamboo groves, I arrived at the Guanghan Confucian Temple. Entering through the Lingxing Gate, I experienced the culture of Chinese classics and the spirit of the sages. The exquisite temple architecture and stone carving art are astonishing. The little lions on the stone pillars of the temple are particularly endearing, especially one small stone lion that is jubilantly hugging a hollow embroidered ball. Its expression and posture are extremely pleasing, reflecting another aspect of the spirit of the people of Sichuan, characterized by their openness, vivacity, and inclusiveness.
