During the Japanese colonial period, a group called Gyeongju Historic Preservation Association opened a pavilion building in 1913 using the building of the Gyeongju Dynasty Department in Dongbu-dong. Since then, the exhibition hall was changed to Gyeongju Governor of the Chosun Governor-General Museum on June 20, 1926, and was launched as Gyeongju Goverment of the National Museum on October 7, 1945, shortly after independence. #wintergetaway
