As a high-end brand under the Huazhu Hotels Group, its unique Chinese style and attentive service made for an unforgettable stay. 💗Other tips: Service and surrounding amenities As soon as I arrived and walked through the first door, an enthusiastic staff member greeted me and showed me the way. Their warmth instantly made me feel welcome. Although I, as a Platinum member, couldn't upgrade my room type after using my upgrade voucher during the New Year period (a bit of a bummer), the staff's consistent enthusiasm throughout my stay significantly boosted the service rating. The hotel is ideally located in the same building as the JI Hotel Orange Select, but thankfully, the Joya has its own dedicated elevators, ensuring privacy. There's a Lawson convenience store downstairs, perfect for grabbing instant noodles, snacks, and other necessities. A six-minute taxi ride takes you to a large shopping mall, offering plenty of shopping and entertainment options. 🏘️Room type/layout: Comfortable space, consistent style The room, at 40 square meters, is a standard size with a practical layout, making for a comfortable stay. The TV is close to the bed, ideal for cozy movie nights. However, the view from the window is quite ordinary, lacking that "wow" factor. If you've stayed at the Joya Hotel in Lujiazui, you'll notice that the room styles are almost identical, like a replica. This might reduce the novelty, but for first-time Joya guests, it's still worth experiencing. 🛌Amenities/facilities: Elegant facilities with classic charm The hotel lobby continues the black and gold Chinese style of the Lujiazui Joya. Upon entering, you're greeted by tastefully arranged tea sets and oranges. A half-height screen subtly divides the space, adding a touch of elegance and charm. Among hotels of the same class, this lobby design stands out. As for facilities, the gym offers a fantastic view, allowing you to enjoy the scenery while working out. The bathroom and shower are separated by an aisle, a practical layout. The disposable toiletries are of good quality, and the service is attentive and meticulous. The check-in process, integrated with the Huazhu system, took only 10 seconds – efficient and convenient. 🧹Soundproofing/Hygiene: Quiet environment, spotlessly clean The soundproofing is excellent. Inside the room, outside noise is barely audible, ensuring a peaceful rest. The hygiene is also commendable. The room was spotless, and everything was neatly arranged, providing a comfortable and worry-free stay. 🍱Dining experience: Breakfast has room for improvement Breakfast is a minor drawback. The variety and taste could be improved, a common issue with Huazhu Hotels. However, it's still a step up from JI Hotel. 💰Average cost: Price matches the experience The price is around 700, which aligns with the hotel's positioning, services, and facilities. It offers decent value for money among high-end hotels. The Joya Hotel in Hangzhou Qianjiang New City boasts impressive features, from its classic Chinese decor and convenient location to its attentive service. If you haven't experienced the Joya brand or are looking for a comfortable stay near the Qianjiang New City business district, this hotel is worth considering if the price is right.
