The hotel offers a cozy atmosphere ideal for both backpackers and families. We were treated wonderfully. My wife and I visited Hanoi with just a general plan to explore the Old Quarter. After checking in， they greeted us with local travel tips， welcome drinks， and a stocked minibar， along with a map and thorough explanations. Olivier and his friend made sure everything was clear， which we found very helpful. They suggested a trip to Tam Dao， which we turned down， but if you’re thinking about it， booking through the hotel is a more affordable and wise option， especially for families. The hotel’s location is excellent， with banks， ATMs， and convenience stores close by. I suggest visiting a minimart to get an idea of local prices， as bargaining is typical in Vietnam. The hotel features a quality water refill machine (Coway brand). Nearby， there are massage and hair spa services， coffee shops， local eateries， and bars. They provide Wi-Fi， Netflix， Disney+， Prime Video， and more. Our room was clean， quiet， and pleasantly fragrant. Breakfast at the hotel was fantastic! If you rent a bike， parking is available near the hotel. During your stay， feel free to seek assistance anytime! At checkout， they'll ask for suggestions for improvement， and their enthusiasm for enhancement is excellent! The hotel also feels secure for guests—I certainly recommend it.

We stayed for one night at this hotel before our Halong Bay Cruise. The hotel reached out beforehand， offering airport transfers， local tours， and dining options. My reservation included a breakfast buffet. We arrived early in the morning to go on a Viator food and city tour before checking in. The staff member， Nvan Phan， was incredibly welcoming and sweet; she helped store our luggage， showed us around the hotel， and mentioned our rooms would be ready by around 12:30， though check-in is officially at 2! The hotel is immaculate， with a classic black-and-white decor theme. The lobby， rooms， and Cloud Nine restaurant all follow this design. We didn’t get to check out the spa or rooftop bar that offers panoramic city and river views. Before booking， I saw reviews mentioning the rooms being a bit dark. However， ours was fine， with a large patio window—we didn’t open the curtains since it was hot outside. If I return to Hanoi， I’ll definitely stay here again. The bed was cozy， and the air conditioning worked excellently! The rest of the staff was also friendly and sweet. We had a fantastic experience even for just one night. I’ll write a separate review about the Cloud Nine Restaurant.

Some places truly take you by surprise， and this one surely did! Everything surpassed expectations， from the very courteous staff to the outstanding food—it was honestly some of the finest we've had in a hotel of this type. It stood head and shoulders above the typical Grand Mercure standard. � Special thanks to Ms. Phan， the GEM， for being incredibly helpful during our stay! We stayed in the Presidential Suite， which was very well-equipped， spacious， and extremely comfortable with an amazing city view. ✅ ✅- Prime Location - Great Pricing – real value for money - Beautiful Room - High-quality Amenities - Friendly， Professional Staff - Terrific Food & Drinks The only improvement could be the pool—it felt a bit too small for the number of guests. Nevertheless， this was easily a 10/10 experience. I highly recommend it if you're planning a trip to Hanoi! ��✨

I had a fantastic time exploring Trúc Lâm Handmade. This store truly highlights the elegance and artisanal skill of Vietnamese traditional handmade products. Each item is crafted with remarkable skill and attention， ranging from exquisite souvenirs to distinct artisanal pieces. The staff was welcoming and well-informed， ready to share the tales behind each item. It's an ideal spot to find genuine gifts and delve into Vietnam’s rich craft tradition. Highly recommend for those interested in traditional arts and handcrafted treasures!

A warm and cozy place to stay in the old quarters. The location is highly accessible， allowing you to walk to both the lake and night market. There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. However， parking might be an issue for drivers since the narrow road doesn't permit long-term parking. Check-in was easy， welcomed with tea， and our rooms were on the first floor. I chose a family room with an extra bed， but it was cramped and had no windows. The rooms offered good amenities， though space was limited. Restrooms were very small yet well-stocked with essentials. Ms. Trang took care of us from start to finish， making us feel very much at home. The breakfast was ample and quite tasty. Thanks again!
