The most charming is the atmosphere of life, the most soothing to the common heart

By chance, I chose the Hefei Yintai Junting Hotel. When I arrived, it was already late at night. After a polite reception at the front desk, they upgraded my room. Tired from the journey, I entered the room but couldn't sleep. I nestled on the sofa by the window, watching the city. In the distance, the Ferris wheel🎡 flashed neon lights, changing colors. Despite the late hour, people were still walking below. The building opposite the window shone with the words 'I❤️Hefei'. Through the window, I looked at the scenery, and the old city seemed to be watching me too. I had only planned to pass through as a tourist, but now I've decided to stay and explore this ancient city of 2000 years. In the early morning of the next day, after extending my stay, I visited the Mingjiao Temple on the pedestrian street, following the front desk's recommendation. Majestic and solemn, I marveled at the tranquility in such a bustling place. When I stepped out of the temple, I looked up and saw the hotel building, as if I could see myself from last night🏢🌌 After leaving Mingjiao Temple, I went to Xiaoyaojin Park. The statue of Zhang Liao at the entrance was lifelike, his roar still ringing in my ears. There was plenty of greenery and many paths. I continued along the stone-paved road, which had the charm of 'finding a bright spot in the shade of willows and a burst of flowers'. Looking up, I saw the high Ferris wheel🎡 again. I stood at the highest point of the Ferris wheel and made a wish for safety and smoothness. The sky gradually darkened, and the pedestrian street became crowded. I found a small alley named 'Diligence Alley', which I thought was interesting. It's said to be full of local specialties. I wanted to taste what Huizhou cuisine was like. The randomly chosen restaurant was very down-to-earth, with a local dialect, handwritten menu, and a full sense of life. The stir-fry was authentic, and the owner said Anhui cuisine is fresh, salty, and good with rice. I ended up eating two more bowls of rice😝 Strolling back to the hotel through the alley, I made tea in the same posture as before. The hotel's selection of tea bags was quite rich. I chose my favorite English black tea. The mini bar had a good selection, with bottled water and soft drinks, but I felt that drinking tea seemed more appropriate in this quiet atmosphere. This hotel is magical, located in the bustling area yet peaceful within. Clearly, it's where life's hustle and bustle is most felt, yet it has soothed my common heart. The postcard in the room read, 'It's so nice to meet you.' I think I will come back to this hotel again.
