We went to Changbai Mountain Xueling It was a last-minute decision. There was no snow on the north slope recently, so rafting and snow scenes were not good for photos. We asked the driver and he said there was snow on Xueling, so we went straight there. The little deer in the reindeer park were really good for photos and petting! We set off from Erdaobaihe for an hour and a half and arrived at Xueling at 9:30. There were no cars in the parking lot at this time, but after we bought tickets for the snowmobile and horse-drawn sleigh, the parking lot was full by 10:00! We recommend arriving before 10:00 and asking the driver to park the car closer to the downhill entrance, so you can walk less and freeze less. We don't recommend buying hats and gloves in the scenic area. We spent 150 on a hat and 60 on gloves, which are things you can buy in a mall for a few dozen, 3-4 times the price. We recommend buying them in town before you come. We took a one-way snowmobile up the mountain, 188 per person, and the driver can take two people in one car. It took less than 10 minutes to get to the reindeer park. When you arrive, you can take photos at the P8 cabin first, then face the cabin and walk to the left to the reindeer park. The reindeer park sells snacks such as oden and ginger tea. Deer grass is also sold at the entrance by an old man, 30 per portion, voluntary purchase, we recommend buying one! This way, the reindeer will follow you into the park. We took photos in the reindeer park and then left. Next to the cabin we came up to is the queue point for the horse-drawn sleigh. One car can seat 6 people, and they usually wait for everyone to be seated before leaving. It's actually very cold and your feet will freeze. If you're afraid of the cold, you can take a snowmobile down the mountain, which is faster. Xueling is really cold, and the wind on the mountain is strong, so we didn't stay long before coming down. Still recommended! After all, the scenery is really nice, with lots of beautiful snow.
