| #Small Island Stay · Hengchun // Urban Utopia | Leaving Xiaoliuqiu, head south to Hengchun. The climate here is pleasant and it is spring-like all year round, hence the name. Southern Taiwan is famous for Kaohsiung and Kenting, but no one seems to know the town of Hengchun. It does not have the hustle and bustle of Taipei or the crowds of Kenting. It is a quiet ancient town. The old houses, combined with the creativity of young people, have become one specialty shop after another, exuding a strong literary and artistic atmosphere. Among the many hipster shops, Button Warehouse is one of my favorites. This dreamy place, converted from an abandoned factory, combines bars, fashion stores and skateparks. The furnishings and seats inside are transformed from waste materials, presenting them in another form, doubling the artistic sense. In addition to good beer, the skatepark next to it is also full of personality. Retro arcade machines and fragmented clothing mannequins create a decadent ruin atmosphere, making it a popular spot for photography. There is more to the south of the country than just sunshine and beaches, you can also relax in a different way. The environment and atmosphere of the Button Warehouse are like a fantasy land, making people reluctant to leave.
