Eating in To Kwa Wan | Still | How to order a set dinner for two

After the opening of the MTR Tuen Ma Line, it is much more convenient to go to #ToKwaWan than before. #WafflesandShrimpCakes I went to #QiAn for dinner a few days ago. Visited Still which specializes in #Spanishtapas and #Japanesefood. Waffles really likes the orange and white arch corner. Ordered the dinner set for two ($698) and enjoyed the second drink for free. Sangria fruit tea is more suitable for waffles and shrimp cakes for people who don’t drink much than fruit wine. After we ordered, the waiter brought us the welcome food first. The squid cartilage was delicious and the sauce was slightly spicy and very appetizing. Each person gets a cup of the signature Spanish fruit tea (original price $58 per cup). The fruit tea is quite generous and full of fruity aroma. Green apples, oranges and blueberries are placed in the small teacup. You can drink it by yourself to cool off and quench your thirst. The set menu included a choice of three tapas from eight, and I selected three types of waffles and shrimp crackers based on my personal taste. Later I found out that the three I selected were the more expensive ones. The container for the Mentaiko and Garlic Shrimp ($138) looks like a big bubble and is very cute. Garlic shrimp is a common Spanish snack. The shrimp is refreshing and chewy, and the addition of Japanese ingredient mentaiko makes it unique. The waiter recommended that you dip sourdough bread into the sauce of the mentaiko garlic shrimp, which turned out to be a good introduction. The sourdough bread is baked until slightly crispy and chewy, and you can add more if it's not enough. The raw scallop sashimi with grapefruit yuzu vinegar ($148) looks good, with three salmon roe and small green leaves garnishing each piece of scallop. The scallops are not cut too thin to affect the taste, but the taste seems to be overshadowed by the sourness of other ingredients. The grilled carpaccio ($138) is rich in meat flavor, wrapped in crisp lettuce, topped with mayonnaise and black and white sesame seeds, and has a rich texture and taste. Since Shrimp Cake doesn’t like paella, we chose the most expensive slow-cooked Hokkaido Tokachi pork belly with Thai sauce (original price $288) for the main course. The quality of Hokkaido Tokachi pork belly is guaranteed. The meat is of good quality and is very tasty when paired with the flavorful Thai sauce. The salad is also very fresh. The dessert of the day (original price $68) was Japanese pudding, which was a little too sweet. #Still Address: Shop 06, 1/F, Kai An, 63 Ma Tau Wai Road, To Kwa Wan #wafflesandshrimpbiscuitsSpanish food #wafflesandshrimpbiscuitsJapanese food #Spanish food #Japanese food #To Kwa Wan food #Hong Kong food #Hong Kong restaurant exploration #wifeandhusband #blog #blogger #hkblogger #hkig #foodie #hkfoodie #foodblog #hkfoodblog #hkfoodblogger #tapas #tokwawan #eatingintokwawan
