【Hung Hom】Distinctive red brick buildings｜Hong Kong Polytechnic University

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University is a complex of buildings with a unique appearance. Although it’s not the largest in the area, it’s certainly impressive. Located next to the MTR Hung Hom Station, you can see the school on the other side of the overpass when you come out of the exit. Visitors should note that they now need to register in advance or immediately to enter the campus, and they cannot enter and exit freely as before. Standing in the middle of the campus, the buildings around you are very similar and it is easy to get lost if you are not careful. Fortunately, each building is clearly marked in alphabetical order. Since the visit was at the beginning of the school year, some places were still under renovation and I didn't have the opportunity to take close-up photos of the famous clock tower. We had dinner at the faculty and staff club. The dishes were mostly traditional Hong Kong-style Cantonese cuisine, which was very delicious. The menu also has specialties from other provinces. The mainland students at the table next to us ate with gusto, so the food must be of good standard as well.
