Birthday Staycation @ Mandarin Oriental Hotel (Breakfast)

After the Shangri-La Hotel, Hong Kong Island, stay at another traditional five-star hotel for your birthday—the Mandarin Oriental Hotel! Package includes breakfast for two, as Cafe Causette's breakfast is slightly later than the Clipper Lounge buffet breakfast, served until 11pm, so you don't get up early and can enjoy it slowly and quietly. We ordered Chinese breakfast and Mandarin breakfast respectively, which were very rich! Chinese breakfast dim sum platter, chicken congee, soy sauce royal char siu and leek stir-fried noodles, seasonal vegetables and fresh fruit platter, while Mandarin breakfast with juice, fresh fruit platter, yogurt, benedict, bacon, potato pancakes, smoked salmon and bread. The dim sum platter is steamed just right, not too dry or too wet, the dumpling skin is moderately thick and thin, the fried noodles are fragrant and not too greasy; the Western breakfast croissants are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and buttery! Egg Benedict also has melted egg yolks that are not overcooked and the sauce is delicious! Cappuccino is rich, not too bitter/too sour, and has a heart-shaped latte art! Among them, bread is not enough can still be refilled, but will not eat all that much! To avoid waste, the bread has to be packed away 🤣 After eating, I went back to my room to hang out and take another bubble bath, but the 24-hour stay passed in a blink of an eye.
