Hierin Hong Kong

Opened in February, this Nordic-style café sits in a small alley opposite Taipei Arena 🏠. Its soft olive-green storefront stands out on the street 💚. “Hierin Coffee” comes from German, meaning “Here Coffee” 🇩🇪. From outside to inside, the café is full of geometric elements 👀. Seating is limited, with triangular and rectangular “table-chair units” 🔺◾️ — all designed, built, assembled, and painted by the owner himself 👨🏻🎨. Even the metal chairs were specially chosen to be triangular 😯. They serve coffee and homemade light bites 📋. The madeleines are shaped like chestnuts and come in my favorite lemon flavor 🌰, while the scones are big, buttery, and soft 🥮. Paired with a hot latte, it’s perfectly satisfying ☕️. #hkonbudget#food
