Hip Tsui Shek O Ruins Tour

Crane's Tunnel is located at the easternmost part of Hong Kong Island. It was once an important geographical location for coastal defense. During World War II, in order to defend against the Japanese army, the British army set up many military facilities here, which are now abandoned. After visiting the Crane's Tsui ruins, you can climb up Crane's Tsui Hill and then descend to the BBQ area next to Shek O Beach. Walking along the path behind the BBQ area, you can take a peek at the Shek O ruins. Many of the huts still look quite new.
