Oil Street launches new exhibition to showcase digital technology and material installations

Oil Street Art Space invited three artists to participate in the "Oil Street Focus" project, exhibiting their latest works using digital technology and material installations in three new and old exhibition spaces. The first two exhibitions, “Phantom Stone” by Nadine Tang and “Silence and Rush” by Joseph Tsoi, will be on display at Oil Street Warehouse from March 1. The "Live and Die Alone Hong Kong Experience Centre" exhibition by mainland artist Lu Yang opened on March 18. Tang Nadim, an installation artist active in Hong Kong, is good at constructing complex and ambiguous spatial scenes, challenging the bottom line of human psychological cognition. In the “Phantom Stone” exhibition, he explored the aesthetics of the microcosm, built a surreal landscape in the exhibition hall, and guided the audience on a seemingly real journey through sound, light and performance. During the five-month exhibition, the artist will adjust the exhibition content every week to bring different experiences to visitors. Hong Kong electronic musician and multimedia artist Cai Shihao is good at using the interaction between music and images to broaden the audience's associations with time, geography and space. He chose "Silence and Rush" as the exhibition title and constructed a unique space in the exhibition space of Oil Street Warehouse, formerly a yacht warehouse, through 360-degree projection of beach scenes, fast-paced and dense urban images, natural waves and the beat of electronic music. The exhibition is organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) and organised by Oil Street Realization. Nadine Tang's "Phantom Stone" and Chua Sai-ho's "Silence and Rush" will be on display at Oil Street Warehouse from March 1 to July 30, while Lu Yang's "Living Alone and Dying Alone Hong Kong Experience Centre" will be on display at Oil Street Glass House from March 18 to August 27. #goodplacestodischarge #discharge #goodplacesforfamily #holidayfamilytravel #localtravel #goodplacesinhongkong #goodplacesonweekdays #goodplacesonweekends #goodplaces #localfamilytravel #familytravel #parents #familyactivities #check-inattractions #check-in #hklifestyle #hkdaily #hkiger #hkig #hongkong #hk #instadaily #travelhk #discoverhk #explorehongkong #exploringhongkong
