Well Known Taoist Temple

Wong Tai Sin Temple is a well known Taoist temple and tourist attraction located at 6071 Ching Cheung Road, and is open daily from 0730-1630. It is around 220 meters 5 minutes walk from Wong Tai Sin Mrt station. Wong Tai Sin main altar was built in 1921, its architecture is in traditional Chinese temple style with grand red pillars, a magnificent golden roof. Some people are shaking a cylinder with sticks, it is a fortune telling practice that originated in China. There are numbers of fortune-telling stalls that can explain the meaning of the stick. It is an intriguing mix of temples and towers like the Grand Hall, Three Saints Hall, and many more. Walking around a peaceful garden that was opened to the public in 1991 with a long corridor that linked up pavilions, bridges, pagodas, rocks and ponds.
