The ancient town of Nianbadu is located in the mountains and valleys of Quzhou, Zhejiang Province, at the junction of the three provinces of Zhejiang, Fujian and Jiangxi. It was a battleground for military strategists in ancient times. It is said that during the Northern Song Dynasty, there were 44 capitals in southern Zhejiang, and this small town ranked 28th, hence the name "28 Capitals". Due to the strategic location of Nianbadu and the frequent wars, garrisons and immigrations in history, this small town has multiple dialects and more than 100 surnames. Compared with other ancient towns such as Zhouzhuang and Wuzhen, Erba is a small town with not many tourists, and the ancient town looks very quiet and quaint.
