That was a long, long time ago, there was a Taiping Spring here, the spring eye was as thick as a bowl, and the water was clear all day long, "gurgling" non-stop, it was the life spring for the villagers to wash clothes and rice, and cook porridge. Unfortunately, the peaceful days did not last long. In the early spring of February, a thunderbolt suddenly split the sky into two halves, and a green dragon descended from the sky with its teeth and claws, and plunged into Taiping Spring. Since then, the green dragon has occupied the spring water, often making waves, flooding the good fields, and kidnapping young women, making the villagers unbearable. People would rather run a few more miles to fetch water from the mountain spring, and dare not use the Taiping spring water anymore. There was a boy named Hei Ge in the village. He was strong and brave since he was a child. He and the girl Hu Mei from the neighbor's house were childhood sweethearts. When Hei Ge was twelve years old, the villagers killed his calf to sacrifice to the dragon, which made him hate the evil dragon and vowed to get rid of the evil dragon. Since then, Hei Ge has been practicing martial arts day and night, and has also received guidance from the Buddha of Qianshan. One day, the evil dragon came out to do evil again and took Hu Mei away. Hei Ge saw this, and was so angry that he fought a thrilling battle with the evil dragon. Hu Mei was in a hurry, and used a white stone to hit the evil dragon's eyes. The white stone fell to the ground and turned into a clear spring. In the end, Hei Ge inserted the sword into the throat of the evil dragon. The evil dragon flew south in pain, and fell down not far away, turning into the Qinglong Mountain in the suburbs of Jinan today.
