Historical visit at Asclepeion of Kos, Greece

We visited one of the medical sanctuary in ancient Greece in island of Kos. It was told that the Asclepeion was used by the Asclepiads (physicians and priest on that time). One of them is Hippocrates who is known as father of clinical medicine. The historical site is about 3-4km from Kos city centre and located in a hill covered by trees which overlooking to Kos City Centre. We took bus no 3 from Kos City Centre and we are quite lucky to be able to visit the site as it is closed earlier in winter time.
