Eastern Hokkaido - Lake Akan

Lake Akan Ski Resort attracts many tourists with its high-quality powder snow, beautiful scenery and diverse facilities. After playing here for a while, go to the hotel to check in. There is Lake Akan Onsen Street, also known as the "Fortune Forest Shopping Street", and the adjacent Ainu Village. These areas combine the culture of Hokkaido's indigenous Ainu people, unique handicrafts and tourist facilities, attracting many tourists to explore. The hot spring street is the busiest commercial street in the Akan Lake area. It is located in an area where hot spring hotels are concentrated, making it convenient for tourists to go shopping. There are dozens of shops on the shopping street, mainly selling Ainu wood carvings, green algae ball souvenirs, totem bracelets and necklaces and other special products. We picked out a wooden carved bear magnet here, and when we checked out, he asked us if we wanted him to carve the words "Lake Akan" on the bottom of the bear's feet.
