The grounds are large, so you can take photos from various angles, and you'll often see people bringing their own professional cameras. You can even clearly see Mount Daimonji, where the Gozan no Okuribi bonfires are held, from the grounds. The main hall, which was rebuilt in the Edo period, and the dry landscape garden in the garden are also well worth seeing.
