South Island, New Zealand｜Tekapo after a night of heavy snow, more romantic than expected

｜Itinerary｜ I navigated to Lake Tekapo along a familiar route. I thought it was just a revisit, but it snowed heavily in just one day. Even the road was left with traces of snowplows. Although everyone would check in at the Shepherd's Church, I prefer to explore this town from different corners and a new perspective. ｜Transportation｜ It is most convenient to drive there, which takes about 3 hours from Christchurch. During the snow season, it is recommended to pay attention to road conditions and make good use of navigation and weather forecasts to adjust your itinerary. This is my fourth time traveling along the Tekapo Highway, and I am always surprised! ｜Recommendations｜ You never know what scenery you will see around a corner. This heavy snowfall is a surprise from God. Those "unplanned" arrangements during the journey are often the most memorable things in the journey, just like this snow, which is unreasonably beautiful, but just right. #AprilGoodDestinations2025
