This Louis House is over 113 years old.

Louis House is located in the old city community, Tha Mao community. It is a classic house in an ancient style built in 1905 by Mr. Louis T. Leonowens, an Englishman who came to trade in Thailand during the reign of King Rama V during the time when teak forestry was being pioneered in the North. It was the golden age of forestry in Thailand. Louis House is a half-concrete, half-wood house with a hip roof and an octagonal gable. It was in a very dilapidated condition because it had been abandoned and uninhabited for a long time. Until the Forest Industry Organization (FIO) renovated Louis House to preserve the beautiful architecture that is hard to find and make it a tourist attraction in Lampang. #NortheasternTeam #WaitingForTheDayToTravel #MissNature
