Sichuan Tour｜Exploring the hidden ancient city of Langzhong in northern Sichuan

On our Sichuan tour, we came to Langzhong Ancient City, one of the four major ancient cities in China. This is a low-key ancient city with a history of over 2300 years. The ancient city is mainly characterized by typical Bashu architectural style, elegant and quaint, with temples, stone bridges and alleys distributed in the ancient town, as if telling a thousand-year-old story. Langzhong Ancient City is backed by green mountains and faces the Jialing River, like a natural Bagua map. The city was built according to the astronomical geomancy theory of the Tang Dynasty and is revered by the people as the number one city of Feng Shui. The must-visit place in Langzhong Ancient City is Zhongtian Tower, which is located in the center of the ancient city and is the axis of the ancient city. The ten roads of Tianxin that spread out in all directions seem to give this city infinite vitality. The Ma Family Courtyard, Zhang Family Courtyard and Qin Family Courtyard and other ancient residences are well preserved to this day, with a long ancient charm. In addition, the Big Buddha Temple, Tengwang Pavilion, and Zhuangyuanfang are also worth visiting, no tickets required. The night in Langzhong Ancient City has a unique flavor, tourists can experience boat rides and enjoy the night view by the river. If you want to experience shadow puppetry, it is recommended to spend 50 yuan to watch a show, which is a characteristic culture of Langzhong. As for food, Langzhong's silver fresh beef noodles and Zhang Fei beef are local specialties, not to be missed. In terms of transportation, you can take a train from Chengdu East to Langzhong Station, which takes about 3 hours. After arrival, you can take a taxi directly to the ancient city.
