Plum9195Go at night to visit this famous temple in Luxor. It will be very crowded, but it will be cooler and the lights make everything very attractive. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes because the ground is uneven and you will want to make sure you do not slip. Going with a tour guide is recommended, they will be able to explain what you are seeing so you can fully appreciate the Temple. Reduced admission is available for Egyptian Citizens and students if they have an ID.This is a must do if you are in Egypt.
Plum9195This was such an interesting Temple built by a very interesting Queen. I will not spoil the story by telling it to you here, it is much better when you hear it while visiting the temple. You should have a guide to help you truly appreciate the history of the Temple. Usually the same guide that takes you to the Valley of the King's will take you to this Temple as well as they are very close to each other. The Polish people were instrumental in preserving this Temple and signage recognises this contribution. Seeing the actual tree stump of one of the trees brought back from a long ago trek was also mind-blowing. This was one of the most memorable sites we visited. Highly recommend.
juki235Tutankhamun’s tomb is the most important pharaoh’s tomb in Luke. Many precious cultural relics and mummies of Pharaoh Tutankhamun have been unearthed here. Moreover, the splendor of the interior decoration of Suzuki, although more than 4,000 years have passed, the murals are still very bright, allowing people to learn a lot of precious Egyptian history. It is one of the most important tombs in the entire ancient emperor, don't miss it.
juki235Habu City is an ancient Egyptian city with a history of more than 4,000 years in the Luxor region. The buildings in the city are very well preserved, including shrines, sacrificial places, and residential quarters. The scale of the entire ancient city is very magnificent. It is also the place where many important ancient Egyptian events occurred. For example, Ramses III was assassinated here. It is really an ancient and great ancient city and it is worth a visit.
Plum9195The Nile River is even better than I imagined. Luxor is the start of many 3-5 night cruise's down the Nile. Most of the larger boats hold around 200 people the smaller Dahabiya about 12-18 people. The cruise usually goes from Luxor to Edfu to Aswan stopping to see sights along the way. It is a great way to relax and see the country side at the same time. Usually the cruise includes meals, guides and most admission fees to the major historical sites. Nile River Cruise is a great way to enjoy Egypt.
I was so happy to visit Egypt. This is the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut in Luxor city. It was built during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut of the Eighteenth Dynasty. It is definitely HUGE and it was carved on the stones. 😱 The entrance fee cost less than 3 euros and you can go inside - unfortunately many os the statues inside were destroyed over time. Definitely worth the visit!
It’s worth to book a trip to Egypt only to visit the Karnak temple. Its so awesome!!! It was great to be able to discover the history from this place. 👏🏻 Many pharaohs have been here. The entrance fee is less than 5 dollars and you have some restaurants near to it. Don’t forget to take a water bottle cause it can be very hot inside. You will forever remember the Temple of Karnak!
I was super scare about riding a ballon since I haven’t done it before but it’s a MUST. It is really cheap in Egypt comparing to other places in the world. We paid 60 dolares per person and it was amazing. It was completely safe. It is not scare at all! I’m usually scared about being high but I felt safe. Please ride a Ballon in your trip to Egypt. You can even see the Valley of the Kings, where they secret buried all the pharaohs. You will never forget it!
There are no words to describe the view you get from up there. The baloon ride in Luxor is a must do. You do it at sunrise and the feeling is absolutely incredible. It was the best hour of our entire trip.
We did with magic baloon company, and it was all fine. They pick you up at the airport and drive you to the boat ride before reaching the baloon.

Also its restaurants worth the visit. We were lucky to have been upgraded to the Luxury Room with pool view, so ask the reception for a nice room, they will be happy to give you. I Booked this hotel with trip.com with great deal.

Stunning view on Sunset over Luxor city, Egypt.
Nile river, Hatshepsut temple and valleys of the Kings.
Amazing experience!! Worth it to wake up 4am ❤️🖤
Touring Luxor Temple at night is recommended you can see the treasures in a cooler temperature. Be prepared for crowds. The statues look so magestic with the lights. Cost for Egyptian Nationals is less than for foreign visitors, just so your prepared to see different tickets. #wintergetaway
